Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 of Joyce Merdena Irving (nee MacDonald) of Crapaud, aged 89. Loving mother of Tammy (Fred Cameron) Saint John, N.B and Lori Irving of Crapaud. Grandmother to Laura, Jason, Amy and Justin and nine great grandchildren. Survived by sister Marilyn MacLean; brother Nelson (Inez) MacDonald and sisters-in-law Marion MacDonald and Florence MacDonald. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband George Irving; parents Emerson and Lucilla MacDonald; sons Paul and Brian; sister Kaye MacVittie and brothers Merlin, Billy, Blair and David MacDonald. Visitation to be held at Lawless Funeral Home on Friday, July 26 from 7 to 8 p.m. Graveside service to be held at Saint John’s Anglican Church, Crapaud on Saturday, July 27 at 3:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
