Frederick Joseph McIver

Following a short but aggressive battle with cancer with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Frederick Joseph McIver, in his 75th year, with his family by his side, on July 19th, 2024 at Prince County Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna (Clow), loving children Tracey (Jason) Handrahan, Aden (Anji) and Lisa. Dearly loved grandchildren Karson and Harrison McIver and Savana and Jaelyn Trainor. Lovingly remembered by siblings Elizabeth, William (Isabel), David (Sylvia), Donald (Arlene Ramsay), Paula Aylward, and brother-in-laws Ron Landry and Maurice Thibeau. Survived by in-laws Marshall (Helen) Clow; Kevin (Laurene) Clow; Joseph (Rita) Clow; and Darlene (Leo) Chaisson, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Aiden and Ethel McIver; mother and father-in-law Earl and Marjorie Clow; sisters Ann Landry and Peggy Hammill; brothers-in-law Leslie Hammill and William Aylward and nephew Christopher McIver. At Fred’s request there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday July 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Malachy’s Roman Catholic Church, followed by the internment of Ashes at St. Malachy’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. A reception will be held at Kinkora Place following the burial. Donations can be made to St. Malachy’s Cemetery Fund and the P.E.I Cancer Society.  Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
